Duress Software (RC200D)

RATH’s Duress System is an emergency call system that includes:
software, a PC, a wireless receiver, repeaters, and wireless devices.

There are a wide variety of wireless devices that can be used with the system.

  • All wireless signals travel across multiple channels and through multiple repeaters to avoid interference and increase reliability.
  • It is recommended that a site survey be done before installation.
  • Once the signal reaches the gateway receiver, the software takes over.

Features and Operation
The PC with Duress Software, or Notification Center, displays calls from all connected and programmed devices.

The oldest calls are displayed at the top. Each call will display as a separate line item and will include:
  • Location: The location of a fixed device or location of a mobile pendant (only with the Location Feature)
  • Device: The name of the device or room where the device is located
  • Duration: Indicates how long the call has been active

A tone will sound when a call comes in if the volume on the PC is turned on. When the call is cancelled it clears automatically from the Notification Center screen.

The RATH® Notification Center offers numerous icons for administrators and security personnel to generate reports, manage employee information, and customize alert notification.
  • Service Personnel Database: Customize security shifts and input security personnel contact information
  • Responder Database: Email real-time alerts to personnel during specific times/shifts
  • Incident Log: Generate custom reports to sort or find past incidents based on specific criteria
  • Email Management: Customize which administrators receive automatic security reports and how often

The Duress Software comes on a PC for one main work station called the Notification Center. You can have multiple PCs with software on the network or have a completely stand-alone solution. To ensure that only administrators have access to sensitive information, some screens are password enabled.

If you are using mobile pendants and want to know where in the building it is activated, this is set up in programming and installation. It starts by fingerprinting the building and ensuring that you have enough repeaters located throughout the facility to give a triangulation.

Ask RATH® about their Wireless Survey Kit.
Installation training is required for this solution. Contact RATH® for more information.
